Expect to Succeed!

Growing up for most people is hard. You learn from your past; each of us has had pain thrown at us by inconsiderate others. Or, by well meaning others, who didn't know better.

The Case of Potentially Successful Women

What are You Doing to Snag Your Visitor's Email?

When you are ready to do business, you just can't

When You Don't Have Cash - Get Creative

Let's start simple:  Your Target Market is not everyone.
If you are trying to have products that appeal to the whole
world...you are really getting in over your head.

Seven Simple Solutions to Success are not Secrets

Marketing on the net is one of the most rewarding challenges
that you can ask for.  Many people don't succeed. Are you one of
the people that just can't seem to make it happen?

How to Maximize Mini Sites for Easier Profit

Have you ever heard in marketing, it doesn't matter
what you sell; it only matters how you package it?

Without a Headline - You have Nothing

There are several words that are important in net marketing. The rules are not to benefit you the seller, but the buyer. The words must benefit the buyer if you want them to come to your site.

10 Ways to Improve Your Sales and Traffic

Many times I check people's websites for some key ingredients that are needed to get more hits; and make more sales per hit. These are the ones that just glare at me:

Stretching Your Marketing Dollars is not Always Money!

Advertising takes time, planning and money. But how much
time, how much planning and how much money is something
that needs to be investigated.  Here are three strategies
that you should be doing.

Tap Into Your Own Creativity

By Teresa King

Online marketing is a lot of fun. It is a lot more fun when you
have your own product. When you have your own product,
and you know that product is a good one, you will put your
whole heart and soul into your business.

Results?

You  make money, or build your list, or you decide that your
product bit the dirt, and you use your experience to create
another.  Some people can come up with a product, and
turn it into gold. Others need more trial and error. Each
failure is yet that much closer to your goal. Don't give up!

But, how do you figure out how to develop a product?

Creating your own product is not hard at all. It is a matter of
scouting around for:

1. What you think the net needs.
2. What you know already.
3. What someone else has, but you can improve on.
4. A combination of one and two and/or three.

How can you combine (needs) and your (knowledge)?

Take one of your current hobbies. You know your hobby.
Have you ever researched it?

Here is a suggestion tool that you can see how many people
have looked up the subject you may be interested in:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

Take your occupation. You know your occupation.
Would it be interesting to others? If so, have you researched
to see what the demand is?

Remember, all marketing is based on supply and demand.
If there is a demand, then there is a market.

Finding your niche is a matter of coming up with ideas,
researching what is out there, and seeing if you have something
that isn't out there, or you what you can improve on and do
better than what is currently being offered.

Once you come up with an idea, don't stop yourself by saying
it is impossible, or you don't have the money. Or you don't
have the time. Do a little each day. Make a goal for each
week, and then get it done.

If what you want to do involves writing, write what you can.
Get it all down on paper. Spell check it and find an
editor who can help you get your product developed.

Can't write a salespage? Write what you want to say. The
benefits of the product that you want to develop, and find
a copywriter who will make you a fantastic salespage.

Once you decide on what you will develop, then you can
start getting it created and you can begin to look for
affiliate programs that will go with your product.

Remember in sales, when a person purchases one product
they may be interested in something that goes with it.

Picture walking into a shoe store. What happens?
You purchase your shoes, and they offer you shoelaces,
shoe polish, shoe wash..... even a shoe horn... wait, did
I forget the socks?  It is how businesses are managed
around the world.

There is no end to what you can market on the net. You
just start brainstorming and think to yourself, "What do
I love to do? And, can I make money with what I love to
do?"  Then believe that you can. And, you can!

Are You Clueless on How to Advertise?

 Written by: Teresa King

Advertising is something that every marketer wants to
know how to do. This article is going to give you some
basic ideas of what you can do.

Free Advertising in a Positive Way.

If you are going to use free avenues for advertising,
then remind yourself that free is free and people reading
free ads, are interested in FREE... This is where you
can advertise Free Downloads, Free eCourse or a Free Report.

Ezine Advertising is pretty much the most positive way
to advertise. The first thing you must do is build your
own opt-in list. It doesn't matter if you can write an
ezine or not. You can start with a free script to collect
email, and you can use other people's articles with their
resource box to use for quality content.

You can purchase advertising spots in Ezines. Remember,
if you are going to just put in a small ad..at a low price,
you will be competing with many other small ads. Write yours
until it STANDS out.

When you write a solo Ad and pay bigger bucks to get it into
an ezine, write like your life depends on it with the
exuberance of a child. Keep it real; keep it live; keep
whatever promise you make. Write it, read it, check it,
re-write it and make sure every single word counts.

One free way to get exposure is to write articles. If you
don't write articles, consider this:

Get a Ghost Writer to Write you an Article for around $75.00.
It is approximately the same price as a solo ad in a high
quality ezine. Next, take your article, and submit it to as
many ezine publishers that you can. This will bring you
exposure, and probably a lot more exposure than one AD.

Search Engines are almost like a mystery. Not that they are,
but the constant conflict in how to get in a top slot on
the Engines causes problems. I hear all kinds of different
approaches. However, if you stick to the following formula you
can't get too far off base:

Put at least three keywords in your Title
Put at least two more keywords in your content and one key word
from the title in the contents area.
In the key words, use all five of the keywords you have chosen
and then add some more. Target a Phrase, rather than just one
word.

In the content of your website, use those key words. Do not use
them in excess or the search engines will consider it spam.

Do take advantage of your ALT Tags...these are the html tags
that you can use that people can see while your graphics
are loading. These Alt tags can have a key word in them and
a great place to put one is your own logo.

They look like this:

(img src="nameofyourimage.jpg" alt="Image of Logo
- Easy Marketing")
Please note - Replace the above parentheses with
angle brackets.

Search Engines rate you on popularity. Find sites where you
can exchange links. The more your site appears on other sites,
the more popular you look.

Other quick ideas before I end this article:

Give testimonials - honest ones.
Sign Guest Books
Answer questions in Forums
Find a Quality eBook that you can Brand and give it away.
Write a report and give it away and let other's brand it.

Remember, always use your name. Don't sign Ted one time
and Theodore another time, use your full name, if you are
Ted Jones, then sign Ted Jones every place you go.

Good Luck,

Are You Getting the Most out of Your Web Site?

 Written by: Teresa King

Are You Getting the Most out of Your Website?

There is a great controversy about whether or not, a person
should sell one item on their website or more. Some gurus
believe and prove that selling a single product on a website
and advertising that product is the most lucrative way to
go.

1.) It does not confuse the person reading the sales page.
2.) It does not offer choices, other than payment methods.
3.) It does not overwhelm the person who is deciding to buy.

On the other hand, a site with a theme can bring in good
money, too. The site would have great content and have things
for sell that has something to do with the theme.

But, if has to be done properly.

1.) Do not place banners all over the page.
2.) Do not lead them off your site. (make a new window)
3.) Do not put up a new window if they are on your site, just
link back to the page they were just on.
3.) Do ask them to bookmark!
4.) Do make a separate sales page for each item that leads
back to your main site. You can advertise the page on its
own that way.
5.) When they are through reading your page, a small banner in
the right hand bottom corner, is the best place to put one.

It always amazes me, to walk into a site, and the first thing I
see is a big banner at the top of the page. Huh, I just searched
to get to your site, do you really want me to click on that banner
and go somewhere else?

So, link to each sales page with text. If you have content that
you want people to read, do not put blinking banners on the
page, it is distracting and can destroy a person's concentration.

Good luck on the improvement of your sales!

Are You Missing the Advertising Boat?

 Written by: Teresa King

Web Site:   Tips for Top eBooks and Marketing

Date Submitted: 06/19/2003

One thing I have noticed on the web is the unwillingness of
people who want to have a business on the net to spend any
advertising dollars.

No business will make it without spending either money, time
or both. That is the bottom line. I hear it all the time,
"I can't make any sales."

Invariably, when I ask, where is your website, where have
you advertised and where are your current advertisements
running? And, I get the same answers.

"Well, I did pay for an ad once..... and I did spend a lot of
time on ffa pages, and I did put my link into the search
engines. I did give some free books away that have links to
my site."

Then to my next question. "What were your results when you
tested your different ad copy?"

"HUH? What do you mean results?"

When you spend your money on ads, you need to test your
ads. It's plain silly to spend your money on ads, and not
know if another ad can pull in better results.

Of course, you need to do what you can that is free and you
can afford the time. And, of course, you need to get submitted
into the search engines.

However, what you really need is to get known.

The best ways to get known is through writing articles, paying
for advertisments, signing guestbooks, answering forum
questions, and through word of mouth.

The most effective way to get known is through writing
articles and getting the articles submitted to different
ezine owners' opt-in newsletters.

Here is your comparison:

Write one article and submit it to as many ezines that you can.
That is tremendous exposure. If you can't write, get a ghost writer
to write an article for you, and prepare to have another written
until you learn how to write your own.

One article might cost you $75.00. That article can be used over
and over again. Now, compare that to one $75.00 solo ad.

Your article should have a tempting resource box advertisement
that leads to your site, or your newsletter. The article should
be interesting and written with enough knowledge and flair that
your reader wants to see more of what you have. They will click
on your resource box and they will go look.

People are far more interested in reading a well written article
and clicking over to visit that author's website, then to read
an advertisement from someone they don't know and go to their
website.

Be careful, with the fatal no, no in writing an article. Yes,
you might have a product that you just love. However, your
article should be generalized on a subject that may have a theme
to what you love, but it should not be a direct advertisement
to what you are selling.

Why? Ezine owners look for high quality articles that are written
well, are informative to their subscribers, and want that article
to look like anything but a full page advertisement for someone
else's company.

There is one way around writing an article that leads to your
product that relates to the article, and that is to have a
well paying affiliate program so that those that use your article
can put in an affiliate link in your resource box. It will
definitely improve your chances of having your article published.

Remember, everything you do on the web should be concentrating
on building your subscriber base to your own ezine and using the
ezines of others, or both for your advertising campaign.

Good Luck,
Teresa King
