This page is meant to teach how to start making money on the Internet.  So let's get started.

A. NO. Selling is Sharing - If you like something - you tell your friends."Boy that Snicker bar sure is good. Or, gosh darn, I love the feel of Dove Soap!" Did you make any money? No, did you share? Yes. Was it easy?  Of course, it was.  We sell things to each other every day without even thinking about it.  

1. Always pick a web business that you like what they are selling. After all, if you don't  want or buy the 
product, how can you share? 

Q. Are there free companies to get started making money? 

A. Gobs of them - many of the them have self replica pages.  

Q. Is it hard to build a Free Web page?  

A. Not at all. You will follow instructions and soon make a professional page. Once you have made one you will feel like the Queen or King of all Web Page builders. Most free web pages have Wizards making your web page building very Easy.  Free - Angelfire   Free -  freeyellow 

But  - it is not professional  looking to use free pages,  so you decide if that is what you really want to do to promote your business! Hosting and building pages 

2. In building your web page you must think of things that you have seen on the net and adored, liked, or 
felt medium about.  You must not put in your page what you dislike in others' pages.  That would be strange --) 

Look at different web pages.  What did you find out?  Were they taking forever to load?  Was the print too small?  Was the content, not what was promised by the advertisment?  
(OH, how I hate that!) You will get an idea as you look around as to what you don't like.  

3.  All web pages must offer something free.  People just like free stuff.  Whether it is a stab at a  free business, or a nifty cool gizmo for their computers, a free lottery, a free autoresponder 
or a free marketing tip; something must be FREE.  If you get a free webpage, that  will be the first thing you can offer people - A free website.  If you get a free business - Well, best offer a free and an easy way to sign up. People like Easy.  

4. When writing the content of your web page.  You must THINK.  How will this look? Will it get the readers attention?  Have I promised on my page what I have advertised?  Is it easy to read? Will I lose my reader, and a possible future person to share with?  And, most importantly, did I miss making new 
friend?  

5.  Okay.  There are key words that people like to see when they are busy looking at your  business or 
your products   Key word above - FREE and these YOU, EASY, SIMPLE are a few.  

6.  Spacing. - People like to see easy short paragraphs or statements.  In otherwords, space your wording. 
As I am doing on this page.  Look back there is not a single long paragraph that has scared you away. Or 
you would not have read this far. 

7. Once you have gotten your readers attention, then you can tell them the whole stuff in more details. 
The important thing is make it easy and enjoyable for your reader.  

8. GRAPHICS - Gosh, there are tons of graphics on the net.  DO you know how to snag one when you think it is just adorable? Right click on the graphic - Choose save as - name it something easy.  Save it where you want to keep it on your computers, in something such as "my documents."  

Make sure it doesn't have a warning on it. 

9. SAVING THINGS - Have you learned how to make a file on your computer for special things?  
I have Files/Folders called  keepers, images, free things, important,  etc.  This is where I put my  stuff 
when I download something or when I decide something is worth saving. (I have added  some PC training for newbies for learning how to save as - set up folders etc. at the end of this article.)  

10. NOW we have made our page. We can show it to our friends and our relatives. Wonderful!   Hmmm, but 
that is not going to make you any money. Oh, a few dollars, maybe. And, your friends will send your new 
page to their friends.  SO someone is going to see your page.  

BUT we want 100's of people to see your page, or 1,000's or more. GOSH, let's get lots of people to  
see your web site.  IT is every marketer's dream to have tons and tons of hits to their page.  There are 
statistics in mail order and on the web, and guess what they are pretty close to the same. You need a certain amount of advertisment going out on your webpage, many will see your page. BUT, alas, not everyone buys. In fact, I would guess around  15% that come to my pages sign up for a free thing, 
MUCH LESS BUY anything.  

11. SO, that page needs lots of hits.  SEARCH ENGINES are your most useful tool for  customers. 
BECAUSE people going to search engine are putting in keywords looking for what you have to sell.  SO, 
once you have built your page, you will need to make html tags for the search engines to find you.  Uh, oh, for some of you a new thing to do.  Don't worry. I will send you to a Meta Tag Builder and you can copy and paste it right into your webpage at the very top.  Okay, for real newbies.  I will put in how to 
Copy and Paste in the bottom of this article too.:)))  

12. About Meta Tags - Meta Tags are very special.  I want the world to see this article. NOT only that - I want some to them to come back to my pages.   After all, I am conveying some great knowledge, that I worked hard to get.  Take YOUR mouse right now and place it on my page - NOW click on the  
rightside button of your mouse.  

LOOK to where it says  "view source"  Click on it.  When you want out - Just hit the top X in the corner 
and you will be back here.  Only takes a second.  "WOW - a new view of my page. IT shows what is 
hidden - Such as Meta Tags.  This is what robots see when they search my page. IT will have key words - that people might be searching for.  THOSE KEYWORDS will be in this article some how someway. 

Because I want the Robots to see those words.  

I also want the robots to notice those words when it flips automatically down my webpage. I need a 
keyword of what I am selling in my title (such as net marketing)- I need a key word in my Heading and  I 
need a key word in the beginning of my paragraph.  

ANOTHER HOT TIP:  Every time you read a message that catches your eye, write it down. Knowing 
what makes people go to your page is very important.  

NOW, we have our main keywords to what we are selling.  The search engines allow you to have up to 200 characters (not words) to get people to your page. These words are important and should have some of the keywords you have used to get people to even see your advertisement in the search engine.  

So, bascially in your meta tags you want several keywords describing your site and a nice blurp that isn't 
too long.  You want some of these following words in your web page. EASY, SIMPLE, YOU, GUARANTEED. People want a guarantee. If your product is not guaranteed, find something else to sell.  
 

NOW look at your page, and pretend you are a stranger seeing it for the first time. LOOK closely. A good writer, always re-checks and re-writes until what they want to convey comes across.  Forget showing off with big words.  Your average buyer does not have a college degree.  If you put words in 
your web page that you can use a simple word for- use it.  Don't go showing off your power of words.  

This does not mean to disrespect your customer's intelligence.  This is just something I know from experience. If you use too many words that the average person has to look up- YOU WILL lose your potential prospect. Guaranteed.  
 

SO once your page has those factors.  You have your product, you have it meta tagged, you have checked to make sure your spelling is correct.  It is readable, pleasant to the eye. THEN you go submit it.    HINT - Yahoo, is still the number one leader for search engines at the time of this writing.  

  IT will take at least two months before it actually gets into their search engine.  You go to - yahoo.com 
and find the category that you want your page placed in. Then you go to the bottom and in little tiny words it says "add url"   FOLLOW their instructions carefully.  

(Back end to get into yahoo.com is to make sure you have 
submitted your page to google.com) 
 

Tricky icky things advertisers do.  "YOUR site is great!" (hahah, they have never been to my site.)   "I was looking over your site and."  (Again, they have never been to my site) "REQUEST more information" (many of we marketers use auto responders to answer basic questions) Usually entitled "Request more Information." (Again. It is not anyone that is slightly interested in me, or what I am  
doing or what I am selling or worse - haven't been to any of my web pages.  

ANOTHER SCAM - Join a group - with a friend.  Visit for a few days. Get to know some of these nice innocents in your group.  Your friend writes to the group. "Wow. I saw a product called E-books by Teresa- Has anyone Read her action packed historic romances?"   YOUR friend now answers.  "YES, I saw the site at such and such place. I  remember as I saw her advertisement and bookmarked it. I was so tempted. Should I buy them? I mean they are not real books one can cuddle up in bed with. They are only E-books." 

Then  the next day. "OH YES, they are wonderful, before, during and after the civil war! I loved them.  I just looked back and found them at  E-books for Sale  

To me those are just plain (UGLY MARKETING TACTICS) OOPS that URL IS REAL ABOVE and is my own. AND, no I did not join a email group and sell my books that way.  

So, this is just a warning of how desperate some people can get.  Believe in your product. If someone wants your product, your product should be able to sell itself or you are wasting your time.  

CONSUMABLE products are the best products to sell.  WHY? Of course, because they get used up. And, you have to buy them again.  Simple.  I sell vitamins and health products.  WHY?  Because I happen to love Vitamins and believe in them.  AND, yep, every month I buy more vitamins. 

BUT from my own store.  NOT someone else's.  SO, if you have a consumable product that you want others to buy. I hope you are using them yourself.  

Another TIP - Robots like to see that your page is popular.  Well this is the hardest thing to do.  You 
must make your site special so other people link up with yours.

THESE NEXT FEW PARAGRAPHS are for PC training. If You know this stuff, skip it. Just race on down past the green  headline stuff.  

TO COPY AND PASTE (my what a time saver) Highlight what you want to save to copy so you can put it somewhere else.  Now right click your mouse, it gives you an option select copy.  
Select Copy.  NOW take your cursor to where you want to copy Right Click on your Mouse and  select Paste. Wow, it is transferred. Note: Sometimes, the option for copy is just not there.  Look to the top of your browser and find Edit - Click on Edit. Find the word Copy  and click on Copy.  

ANOTHER way to copy and paste is to use your keyboard.  Highlight what you want to copy  press cntrl and C at the same time.  To paste - place the cursor where you want to  
what you just copied to go and press cntrl and V at the same time - And you have copied and pasted that way, too.  

TO MAKE A FOLDER - Click on Start. Find Programs. Click on Programs - Scroll down until you find 
Windows Explorer. Click On Windows Explorer - YOU will be in a box  - You will see  stuff like desktop, my documents, C:  Click on C: once or twice depending on your program - Now highlight C:  

TO highlight you just click once.  NOW look at the top of the box that you are in.  YOU will see the word FILE  click on File and a another box will appear, giving you options. CLICK on New Folder  - Now a box will appear saying NEWFOLDER  Erase the words- NewFolder and type in what name you 
want your folder to be.  NOW click on your new folder until it is blue - _ This is just an easy way to stay 
organized.  

WELL that was scary and new.  AND I bet you succeeded. Good.   HOW to find your new folder go to 
windows explorer again.  Double Click on C - scroll down  and you will find your new folder. Once you put something in your folder and you want a handy folder. You can make a short cut to your folder by clicking once to highlight your file.  Right click  and you will see a box IT will say make a shortcut to 
Folder and send to desktop.   DONE  
 

MOVING FILES from FOLDER TO FOLDER - Okay, you have some files you want to put into your new folder - This is a bit strange at first it is called "dragging"  YOU can drag  a file from inside a folder into another folder. DRAGGING is easy. Once you have done one. It is so simple you will be 
astounded.    TEST the art of clicking and dragging by  moving something on your desktop.  JUST move it. DON'T put in anywhere.  Place your cursor on say your trash can - Click the mouse but don't release it.  NOW at the same time drag your mouse across your mouse pad. YOUR file should move.   NOW put it back - You are now an expert at dragging things.  

OKAY, now we want to move something from inside one file into another folder.  TO begin with if you somehow have some non folder stuff on your desktop and you have made a short cut to your folder and something is there that you want in your new folder.  DRAG it into the file. That's right just drag that file 
and place it in the file that you want. DONE.  

IF it is somewhere else, then we go to Programs, go to Window Explorer.  Find the folder you plan on putting stuff into.  Double click on it- IT is now open - NOW find what you are looking for. 

DOUBLE CLICK on that.  The folder you just opened will close - BUT if you look in your list on the other side of the computer you can see that it is open by the little + signs.  NOW whatever it is you want to move.  DRAG it over and into your new file.   LIKE I said, once you have done it once, it is incredibly 
easy.  FOR SOUNDS when you open ichatplug in. Again it will say cache and sounds. MOVE The sounds you already have into the sounds part, NOT THE CACHE  

NOW the next time someone sends you a new sound or a cool graphic.  YOU will always save as: by clicking on C: finding the folder you want what is being sent to you. Click on the folder then Click on save as:  and that is where what is being sent to you will go. *SMILE*  

THE REASON I HAVE added the above information - Is for PC beginners, who once, they get marketing going, they are going to be really into the outside world of their computer  AND will most 
definitely want to stay organized.  
 

E-mail Signatures are a must:When you send out an e-mail. You should have a little end statement at the bottom of your email with your full web page address along with a short Heading - YOUR email program will teach you how to do this with the program under help.  

Another little tip for top:  Follow up on your prospects- ONCE - If they don't respond.  Leave them alone. That is harassment.
