Four Happy Bears and a Sad One

Way down low on the ground they found a soccer ball.

Yellow bear grinned, inside and outside. For all day long
he had been kicking his feet.  He was grinning at them all.
This was going to be a treat.
          SOCCER

"Yes!" he grinned until his face was all smiles.  That was
the best plan in a long, long while.
"We can kick the ball with our feet.
This is really very neat."

Green Bear frowned inside. "Who will play with us?"
he cried. "I know, maybe RED Butterfly!"

Busy RedButterflysays, "I have promised to be
 with Blue Butterfly today."

Brown Bear let out a great big sigh. Sometimes, he wished he
could fly high into the sky.

Red Butterfly said," You guys are silly.  You don't need
Blue Butterfly or me.  You are five bears in one.  You can
kick the ball back and forth for fun."

Bright Pink Bear smiled at the Red Butterfly and said. "You are
so very right. We can play soccer every night."

"Yippee!" all five cried out loud.

While Yellow Bear  danced around. "It is wonderful that
we are a crowd.  We can kick that ball off the ground."

All five bears grinned big and wide while picking who would
be on whose side.  Red, Green, Blue, Brown and Bright Pink,
it will be fun to choose, don't you think?

They kicked the soccer ball all around.
They kicked the ball off the ground.

But five is not an even number. No, it only makes three plus two
that is why Blue Bear decides to pick YOU!

Yellow Bear smiled the biggest of all.  And, ended this story with
'Let's play ball!"
